For the first time in its 30-year history, Mount Vernon Academy is offering a unique opportunity for High School students to study abroad. Participants will spend 2 weeks living in London, England and will receive 1 semester of English or Elective credit. That's 18 weeks of class credit earned in just 2!

Students will experience British life to the fullest as they completely immerse themselves in the rich culture of London, one of the world's greatest cities. In addition to traditional classroom study, students will have the whole of London as their instructor.

Reading, writing, and attending play performances are all a part of the curriculum. As the students explore the city, they will learn firsthand about the long and complex history of Great Britain, from the early days of the monarchy, to the world of William Shakespeare, and, of course, modern-day London.
